Covering North East England, & North Yorkshire we offer all aspects of Construction work, specialising in Civil Engineering, Groundworks,. and specialist earthworks using tilt-rotators and 2D modelling.

Our commercial experience allows us to apply ourselves in more complex civil engineering projects, in ways other sometimes can't . Specialist services include but not limited to; Insitu Reinforced concrete walls, trench sheeting, gabion baskets, SuDS, drainage, power-floated concrete slabs, slab alterations and much more, in addition to all aspects of more traditional building works.

A chartered building professional with a degree in construction management, and 16+ years experience leading construction teams to deliver projects often in excess of £100m, Paul's successful delivery developed an exceptional relationship with clients including Amazon, Newcastle University, North Tyneside and Northumberland County Councils, and more.

HIs passion, enthusiasm and technical knowledge for all things construction, gained him the respect of all those around him. A natural born leader, his personable skills have allowed Paul to apply his knowledge, delivering top tier projects for blue chip clients in the UK and EU.
''I'm hugely grateful for my career, starting as a graduate site manager at Shepherd Construction, transitioning through various levels of project management at Galliford Try and later finishing as Project Director at ISg, However, I'm a born entrepreneur and after dabbling with a number of small businesses as a student, it was almost inevitable I would start my own business one day. Now that time has come.
With the success of Ponteland Plant Ltd. (later renamed Millburn Plant Ltd for brand consistency), Milburn Construction was born from clients requesting our professionalism and expertise beyond supplying and operating plant. Therefore, we're now successfully delivering construction, civil engineering and groundworks projects in both the private residential and commercial sectors.
